“Colorful” and “Mix n’ Match”

Image #1

“Repition”
The artwork repeats certain shapes and objects such as the scribbles in the back and the pairs in the front.

“Simulated Texture”
The artist uses the paper cutouts to simulate the texture of hair and skin, and also simulating the idea that the face is 3D despite it being flat.

A Few of My Favorite Things

 1. Dwaekki Plush This is one of my favorite dwaekki pluhes I own as it is official and limited. The stress of trying to get him. Before he sold out was insane, but I managed to get him and two other characters. I want to take him everywhere with me but I’m scared he’ll get lost. So I carry around a fan made version on my book bag.

2. Changbin Rockstar POB (pre-order benefit) My favorite pob from this comeback. I love this photocard so so much I take it everywhere. The glasses are just so good on him and I want to get the whole set of all the members so bad but theyre expensive so I have to take my time with it.

3. Jonghyun Poet Artist album probably my prize possession when it comes to my album collection.  This artist passed away in 2017 and his albums havent been produced since then so the fact that I got the last one he ever released is pretty special. It was also one of my first albums that I ever bought so it’s been with me for a long time.

4. Reyhans Artbook one of three of her artbooks I own. She was one of my favorite artists growing up and I love a lot of her character designs.  This one is particularly special because it was the first one I ever got and it’s signed by her in the first page. Often when I lack inspiration or need ideas for color techniques I look through her artbooks.

5. Signed P1harmony Album I got this album at my first concert in 2023. I drove all the way to Atlanta and saw the group perform and it was so much fun. Of course I had to buy a signed album while I was there. And I saw them again a couple months later so I’m hoping I can see them for a third time this year too.

6. Sketchbook I love to draw so I carry my sketchbook with me everywhere. This one is new so there’s not much on or in it but I’m hoping I can finish it soon. Square sketchbooks have come to be my favorite size to use, so my fast few have all been this same one.

7. Photostrip My roommates and I love photo booths so we try to visit as many as we can when traveling. This one is from our first trip to New York where we got to see some of our favorite artists live. It was such a fun time and the photo booth shop we went to was really cool. I hope next time we go to New York we can visit it again.

8. Elephant Ring A ring my mom gave ,e when I went on exchange back in 2019.In my family, we always point an elephants butt towards the door, as it brings good luck. I like to wear this ring a lot and I hope it lasts me a long time.
